Year Five: Rationality and Unicorns

When children are allowed to improvise and create music together, a spark is ignited, and the fireworks begin. At the age of four, this is a crucial part of the development of their creativity and confidence. We don’t want to let that moment pass just because we feel silly, or because we are insecure about our own natural musicality. We certainly don’t want to let that moment pass because we have bought into the cognitive rat race, mistakenly thinking that IQ is everything. It isn’t.
